March Pendings Sales Match Last Year

The number of pending sales in March of 2007 came within 1 unit of the number of pending sales in 2006 for Naples Florida. This should be the signal of the end of a falling market, one in which since September 2005 saw steady declines in pending sales. Here's the numbers:

Pending sales for Naples continue steady increase

Property sales for the Naples Florida area continue their nice and steady increase compared to previous months.

The best early indication of what to expect in the real estate market in the next few months is by viewing the "Pending" contracts that are waiting to be closed. (shown in the Chart) For those buyers who are still waiting for signs of when to buy, this may be the best indicator to use. In addition, the number of new properties going onto the market is also another usefully indication. There were 1,026 less new properties going on the market in Q1 of 2007 compared to the same period in 2006. (6,222 new listings first quarter of 2007 compared to 7,248 in 2006.)

When the number of properties going "pending" start to increase showing demand is increasing and the number of new listings start to show signs of slowing so supply is decreasing, the net result is less property available for buyers to choose from. So if your one of the many people wondering when is the right time buy, now could be the best time before the market recovers even further and you still have choices available.

Amerivest Realty Gains Naples Market Share

Bucking the trend of a down market, Amerivest Realty numbers of agents and sales increase showing a continued market share gain in Naples Florida.

Last Three Quarters Agent Gain 9%!
Amerivest Realty was the only firm* to show a positive net gain of agents with 4 for a total of 253 agents, compared to an average of -10 for the other 7 firms*, in the 1st quarter of 2007. Over the last 3 quarters, Amerivest Realty agent counts are up 9%, while the rest of the firms were down an average of 14%.
*Top 8 firms, based on # of agents, with a Naples address.

First Quarter Pending Sales Gain 20%!
Amerivest Realty pending sales increased 20% over the same quarter last year, while the rest of the market dropped 5%.

"This is indicative of how hard our management team has worked to continue to offer more services and at great price to our agent clients" said Joe Ballarino, President & Founder.
