Naples Florida Inventories show slight rise

For the first time since Oct 2004, real estate inventories are finally on the rise. The last 12 months Sellers have had their way as buyers have had to bid list price or higher to secure a purchase, many times having to have ample cash as many properties did not appraise. However, the last 4-6 weeks inventories are finally rising, perhaps the begining of a market normalization.

You may be right about the normalizing but I think it will take a while yet as the new construction is still way behind demand and lotteries still the norm. SteveB
